Description
A blengin is a fairylike creature with horns who protects children. This one was caught in the crossfire between Abiennia and Glandelinia.
I made this at the crafts table in the basement at the Andy Warhol museum, during their exhibition of Henry Darger's paintings. He's one of my personal heroes. His artwork knocks me out! It's so beautiful it makes me cry. He lived in that little one-room apartment his whole life, and he made so many huge-ass 9-foot paintings. Go see them for yourself! See the documentary too.
