Being familiar with arcanist and pre-Christian tradition / symbolism, I really love this fusion of Celtic, Greek, and Roman mythoi. I do agree with you about the inscription, though I would rather prefer there not being an inscription at all; I think it takes away from the overall power of the piece, when the information it carries can easily be conveyed in a note or message that is not part of the art / spell itself. Still, though, the explanation is well-presented and doesn't at all take away from the image's beauty--only the potential for fantastic immersion.

Given your familiarity "with arcanist and pre-Christian tradition / symbolism" then you probably know that the "Seal of Solomon" akas the "Star of David" is a 6-pointed star made-up of 2 inverted equal-sided triangles, and was never a (5-pointed) pentagram

But heh, the artwork is still well-done.
